Obituary for Edward W Champion Jr.
Edward W Champion 84, who loved life. He slipped peacefully to be with the Lord. He was born in Dennisville on May 30, 1938 to his parents Edward and Charlotte Champion. He will be fondly remembered for helping others and riding around in his truck checking on people or just making a conversation and loved to hunt and just enjoying life.
He is survived by his wife, Ginnie Champion, sister Alice Flash, son Edward W. Champion III, daughter Dana Kent, stepchildren John and David Gunzenhauser, & Joyce Vissuskus. Grandchildren and great grandchildren especially Bryson Kuhns and many other relatives and wonderful friends!
A graveside service for Mr. Champion will be held at 11am on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the Head of the River Cemetery, corner of Aetna and Rt 49, Estell Manor. Any donations, if you prefer, please send to food bank at St. Casimir Thrift Shop 304 Clay Street, Woodbine, to the food donations. Ed always loved giving to people so we picked this charity for him.
