Donald B. Duble, age 73, of Tuckahoe, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday night, November 8, 2022. Born on April 12, 1949, he was the son of the late William and Doris Duble.
Donald was born with a heart to help those around him. He worked as an EMT when he and Marie’s children were young. He went on to enjoy a forty-year career working for the Ocean City Public Works Department, a career that gave him a great amount of fulfillment and provided for his family. Donald enjoyed the simple things in life, and he enjoyed the peace that came from being outdoors, near the water, casting his line and always hoping to make the ultimate catch. He also enjoyed searching for buried treasure, metal detector in hand and was always happy when he unearthed an interesting find. Donald was a hard-working man who tried to help out everyone he could. His devotion to his family, however, took precedence above all and the time spent with his family and those he held dear was what he cherished most. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be forever missed by all who were fortunate to know him.
Donald is survived by his beloved wife Marie; his daughter, Sharon; his son Brian; and his four grandchildren: Michael, Lilla, Emily and Brynnley.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 1:00 – 3:00PM at Langley-Loveland Funeral Home, 2315 Route 50, Tuckahoe, NJ.
In the Spring of 2023, a dogwood tree will be planted in his honor, that it would be a living memorial to a wonderful man.
