Obituary for Robert Schweibinz Sr.

Robert William Schweibinz, 14 Jun 1948 - 10 Jan 2022.

Robert "Bob" Schweibinz was born June 14, 1948, in Sea Isle New Jersey to John and Dorthy (White) Schweibinz.

As a US Army vet, Bob was a machinist in the Vietnam war. Upon his return from the war, he married Sandra (nee Herman), on December 10, 1972. Together, they became residents of Upper Township, Bob's attention was given to the two things he loved the most. His family, and motorsports.

As a life-long fan of racing, those who knew Bob knew that he loved spending time at the racetrack with his children and grandchildren. Not a man to shy away from a mechanical challenge, Bob developed a second-natured ability to adapt and overcome, leading his children to liken him to MacGyver. When not at the racetrack, Bob would be found in his garage building engines.

Survivors include wife Sandy, children Melissa (Alex) Lau, Jacqueline Gamble, Robert (Megan), and Mark (Jennifer), thirteen grandchildren, Samantha, Corey, & Gabrielle Lau, Christopher Gamble, James & Steven Goodroe, Taylor & Tara Gamble, Summer & Buddy Schweibinz, Noah, Dylan, and Gabriel Schweibinz, step-grandchild Christopher Batchelor, three great-grandchildren, Zion Lau, Adrianna Gamble, & Liam James Miller, and his older brother John (Peggy) Schweibinz.

Bob's memory will live on through the knowledge, wisdom, and memories that he has passed to his children and grandchildren.
