Obituary for Ann Wigglesworth (Clark)

Wigglesworth, Ann, age 86 of Tuckahoe, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021. A lifelong area resident, Ann devoted her life to her church and to caregiving. She raised her three children, two grandchildren Tiffani and Brian, and then three great-grandchildren Marcus, Joseph and Gordon. All of her “children” were the joy of her life. She was dedicated to the Tuckahoe United Methodist Church and Church Choir for 66 years, was a member of the Daughters of America, a 4-H leader, and also served the community as a dispatcher with the Upper Township Volunteer Rescue Squad. Ann worked at Airworks in Millville until taking a break to have her second and third child. Then, she was employed at First National Bank of Tuckahoe as a Teller, Head Teller, Vice President and member of the Board of Directors. After the sale of the bank to Sun National Bank, she continued to work several more years as a Vice President until her retirement.
Ann is predeceased by her parents, James and Elizabeth Clark, brothers James and Harry “Pete” Clark, and sisters Joan Tilley, Mary Smith, and Pauline “Polly” Walton. She is survived by her children Deborah Cormier of The Villages, FL, Wendy Champion of Newfield, and B. David Wigglesworth of Tuckahoe, granddaughter Tiffani Lord of Tuckahoe, grandson Brian Champion of Tuckahoe, granddaughter GraceAnn of Nashville, TN, grandson Shane Wigglesworth of Tuckahoe, great-grandsons Brian Champion Jr., Draper Ellis, Marcus Paynter, Joseph Lord and Gordon Lord, brother Thomas Clark, and many other loving nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
A “Hymn Service” for Ann will be held at 11am on Friday, November 5th at the Tuckahoe United Methodist Church, 112 Route 49, Tuckahoe, 08270. A burial of ashes will immediately follow service at Head of the River Cemetery, Rt 49 and Aetna Drive, Estell Manor. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ann's memory can be made to Tuckahoe United Methodist Church, PO Box 117, Tuckahoe, NJ 08250.
