Lynora T. Allen “Lyn”, 55, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 19, 2021, surrounded by family. Lynora was born on August 29, 1966, in Brooklyn New York and later moved to South Jersey where she spent the remainder of her life. Lynora worked at Outdoor World Lake and Shore and The Woodbine Developmental Center. Lynora loved spending time with her grandchildren, and they were the highlight of her life. She also enjoyed her dog Blue, listening to music, cooking, watching black and white movies was her favorite and playing Bingo. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her longtime friends Lourdes Gomez, Sharon Holt, Faith Gibson and many other friends she made and kept over the years. With her outgoing and outspoken personality, she always knew how to make people laugh. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her Father, Arthur W. Allen and her Mother, Marcia M. White, and siblings, Helena Allen (Nicholas) and Elbert G. White.
Also surviving are her husband, Lawrence McKenzie, her only daughter, Shawnty Richardson, her two sons, Michael Young, Jr. (Valerie) and granddaughter, Sanayah, and Stephon Allen, Sr. (Candace) and grandchildren, Armani, Gionna, Khamari, Stephon, Jr. and Kyle.
She was predeceased by her great grandmother, Annabelle E. Carter, her nephew, Khalif E. Carson Jr., Van L. Jones, and Elbert G. White Sr.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Friday, September 24, 2021, at Langley Loveland Funeral Home located at 2315 Route 50, Tuckahoe, New Jersey 08250. Viewing is at 10 am and Service to follow at 11 am. Interment at Head of the River Cemetery, 600 Route 49, Estell Manor, New Jersey 08270. And repass to follow.
