Simone P. Kuhns, 76 – of Upper Township, passed away on Saturday, July 17. Simone was a graduate of
Ocean City High School class of 1962. She was retired from the Lutheran Home in Ocean View where she
worked for over 35 years. She loved her family and home. She enjoyed taking photographs and watching
her granddaughters dance as they were growing up.
Simone was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Peter F. Kuhns. She was loved and will be missed by
her daughters Linda Kuhns and Penny Nichols (John) and her granddaughters Jessica Newsome
(Matthew) and Sara Mucerino (Andrew) along with her three great-grandchildren Brody, Sadie and Colby
Newsome. She was also loved and will be missed by her brother Robin W. French (Joyce), her sister
Katherine Spatol and her sister-in-law Althea Endicott along with her many nieces and nephews. Services
will be held graveside at Head of the River Cemetery, Estell Manor on Friday, July 23 @ 10:00am.
Cure SMA was a charity very close to her heart. Donations can be made to Cure SMA in her name in lieu
of flowers.
