Obituary for Blanche M "Pat" Giosia Cauff (Harkins)

Blanche “Pat” Cauff, nee Harkins/Giosia of the Tuckahoe section of Upper Township, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2020.
Pat was born on December 28, 1939 in Camden, NJ, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Harkins. Pat is survived by her loving husband Charles (Bud) Cauff of 37 years, her son Robert Giosia/Diana Beer, her daughter Joanne Giosia/Dominic Saboto, grand children Ryan McHugh, Shayla Giosia and several nieces and nephews.
Pat graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden, NJ; furthering her education at Pierce Business School in Camden, NJ. She moved to Mt Ephraim in 1967 where she worked at the My Ephraim Library and started a Pre K school at the library and enjoyed working with children. She was so passionate about working with the children, she started driving a school bus for special needs children. She was a Republican Committee Women in Mt Ephraim. She was subsequently employed by RCA in Camden, NJ as a secretary. She left RCA when they moved to Princeton, NJ. Pat became certified as an umpire and referee and officiated at numerous basketball and softball games. After leaving RCA she became a rental agent for multiple South Jersey rental agencies. When the agencies changed hands, she left that pursuit and became certified as a Health Care caregiver. As a caregiver, she managed the household of an elderly patient for 10 plus years, in Hammonton, NJ. Pat wore many hats and was passionate about everything she pursued.
She enjoyed traveling by motorcycle throughout the country with her husband. They were members of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA) an international motorcycle organization. They collectively became educators of a local GWRRA chapter and subsequently directors of that chapter. She also enjoyed flying to various locations with her husband. Whatever Pat was involved in, she gave it her all.
