Obituary

Blanche “Pat” Cauff, nee Harkins/Giosia of the Tuckahoe section of Upper Township, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2020.
Pat was born on December 28, 1939 in Camden, NJ, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Harkins. Pat is survived by her loving husband Charles (Bud) Cauff of 37 years, her son Robert Giosia/Diana Beer, her daughter Joanne Giosia/Dominic Saboto, grand children Ryan McHugh, Shayla Giosia and several nieces and nephews.
Pat graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden, NJ; furthering her education at Pierce Business School in Camden, NJ. She moved to Mt Ephraim in 1967 where she worked at the My Ephraim Library and started a Pre K school at the library and enjoyed working with children. She was so passionate about working with the children, she started driving a school bus for special needs children. She was a Republican Committee Women in Mt Ephraim. She was subsequently employed by RCA in Camden, NJ as a secretary. She left RCA when they moved to Princeton, NJ. Pat became certified as an umpire and referee and officiated at numerous basketball and softball games. After leaving RCA she became a rental agent for multiple South Jersey rental agencies. When the agencies changed hands, she left that pursuit and became certified as a Health Care caregiver. As a caregiver, she managed the household of an elderly patient for 10 plus years, in Hammonton, NJ. Pat wore many hats and was passionate about everything she pursued.
She enjoyed traveling by motorcycle throughout the country with her husband. They were members of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA) an international motorcycle organization. They collectively became educators of a local GWRRA chapter and subsequently directors of that chapter. She also enjoyed flying to various locations with her husband. Whatever Pat was involved in, she gave it her all.
Contributions to Pat's memory can be sent to Alzheimer's Association, South Jersey Chapter, 3 Eve's Drive, Suite 310, Marlton, NJ 08053.
The family will receive guests between 10 and 11 on Thursday, July 16th in the Church of the Resurrection, located at 200 Tuckahoe Road, Marmora NJ. A Catholic mass will be held at 11 am. Burial will be scheduled at a later date. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.LangleyLovelandFuneralHome.com.

Pat was a wonderful person. My husband and I cherish the memory of Pat who ran my Mother's home in Hammonton, NJ, for more than 10 years. Pat became a member of our family; we loved her. Even our doctor remembered Pat as taking such good care of my mother. My mother taught Pat to make some of my Mom's favorite recipes, one in particular was "fried potatoes." Pat even mentioned this in a booklet we produced at my Mom's funeral in 2008. We are happy we were able to attend Pat's 80th birthday party... she was very happy and remembered everyone who attended the surprise party. We will miss you, Pat, but we always will remember you. Pat passed away on the same day as my Mom. We know Pat is once again looking after her.
