On Friday, June 5, 2020, Joseph John Korabik Jr., loving father of 2 sons, passed away at the age of 38. Joe grew up in Steelmantown, NJ. He attended Ocean City High School and Cape May County Technical High School, graduating in 2001. After working in the landscaping and electric field, he found his calling in the cable industry and last worked for Kavorka Inc. as the Vice President of Operations.
Joe’s proudest moment was when he welcomed twin sons, Joey and Charlie, into the world. They were the light of his life. Joe loved spending time with his boys. He instilled in them a love for camping, biking, music and teaching them how fix things. Joe, Mr. Fix Everything, was quick to lend a hand to a neighbor or friend and utilize his skills. He was known for his quick wit and creating laughter in the room. He would go to great ends to make you laugh, even if the joke was inappropriate. He would always make you smile.
Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie (nee Garrison) and his father, Joseph Korabik Sr. He is survived by his sons Joseph and Charles and his sister Mary.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020 at Head of the River Cemetery at 4pm.
