Janet truly had a heart of gold, filled with kindness and compassion. She was funny, smart, caring and a good friend to many. My oldest brother introduced her to my family sixty seven years ago when I was three years old. After his tragic death when I was six, Janet became my role model and the big sister I never had.
She was forever young at heart! One of my fondest memories is during her college years she was always zipping around in a noisy pink convertible sports car. Her everyday youthful enthusiasm for life was unmatched.
She had a way of making Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving and birthdays a perfect treasured memory. Janet did not slow down with age. Her energy and exuberance for fun continued throughout her eighty years.
She made a difference in many lives and leaves behind a legacy of kind deeds, shared wisdom and rich memories. Janet will long be remembered for the difference she made in many lives.
