With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Scott C. Swayngim, affectionately known as Scotty and Dee-Dee.

Scott was born in Camden County NJ and raised in Tuckahoe where he resided all his life. He was a graduate of OCHS (1985). Scott was a hard worker of many trades - he was a tractor operator at Tuckahoe Turf Farm, an apprentice plumber for Husky Plumbing, a drywall installer for R.B Drywall as well a groundsman for Robert Brown Tree Service.

He had a love for cars and enjoyed racing his ‘67 Nova at Atco and Bridgeport Raceways. He prided himself in his beloved Jugg Head - his American bull dog who has won medals in dog shows. Scott was very happy in the company of his family and friends. He had a big heart and a personality almost as big as his mouth. Scotty’s memory will be everlasting in our hearts and he will be missed by many and all he knew.

Predeceased by his father Fred C. Swayngim, paternal grandparents Ruth And Fred Swayngim SR., maternal grandparents Jennie and Edmond Paxson, brother Thomas Swayngim, niece Tonya Swayngim and nephew Raymond Blaine.

Survived by mommy Eugenia Swayngim (Dave-POP) siblings Jeanne (Dave) Edmund, Raymond (Crystal) Bob (Cherie) Joan (Bob) John (Tracey) Vicky (Roy) many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Nieces and Nephews Laura, Tommy jr, Erica, Robert, Trisha, Vanessa, Bobby Jr, Ronnie, David, Mikey, Queenie (Sage), Justin, Shannon, Josh as well as many great nieces and nephews. Scott’s family would like to recognize Scott’s extended family John Young (Jen) Kimberly, John, Jordan, Kayla, Colton, and Caden.

A memorial service for Scotty will be held at 1pm on Sunday, October 13th, 2019 at the Langley Loveland Funeral Home, 2315 Rt 50, Tuckahoe; friends may call one hour prior to service from 12pm-1pm. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.LangleyLovelandFuneralHome.com.
