Obituary for Eileen Wampler (Weaver)

Eileen Wampler went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully with family by her side at home on December 24, 2017. Eileen was born on July 30, 1936 to Franklin and Edith Weaver.

She was a high school grad of Chester High School In Chester Pa. Upon graduation she worked for Bell Telephone where she met her husband, Glenn Wampler. They were married November 24, 1956. Eileen had two children Christina Eileen and Scott Glenn.

She is preceeded in death by her husband Glenn and son Scott.

Eileen was a home maker until they relocated to Upper Township Nj in 1979. Eileen and Glenn ran a business in Wayside Village called "The Warming Place" that sold Buck Stoves. Eileen's last job was a secretary in Trump Plaza. After retiring Eileen enjoyed traveling with her husband, working in her gardens at home, cooking and making crafts. Eileen also had a catering business for a while as she was an excellent cook.

Eileen was a member of the Upper Township Historical Society and the Acorn Garden Club. She was a volunteer for Shore Medical Center and enjoyed working in the hospital gift shop. Eileen was an avid Bridge player and was a member of several Bridge groups.

Eileen had a strong Christian Faith and was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Marmora, Nj. She enjoyed bible study and prayer and praise services. She ran the yearly rummage sale and sold shop rite cards to help the church out. Eileen loved her church and her church family.

Eileen is survived by her daughter Christina Cruddas, grand daughters, Sarah LeRoy and Emily Cruddas and great grandson Ashton Shough. She is also survived by cousins of "The Wilson Clan" and their extended families.

Eileen will be missed by all.
