Joseph Allen 74, born January 4, 1939 in Atlantic City passed away July 24th at home. He was a graduate of Ocean City High School. He retired from the City of New York as a dockbuilder for the Staten Island Ferry. He is survived by his wife, Carol, whom he met in 1958 while being a lifeguard on the beach in Atlantic City; His children Christopher Allen(Christine) and Marcy Sullivan(Drew), his grandchildren Sean, Lauren, and Morgan Sullivan, and Cole Allen, step-grandsons Ian and Zack. Also, he leaves behind a loving brother Thomas and his wife Marjorie Allen and niece Lynn Dress (George), nephew Thomas Allen (Nancy) and several great niece and nephews. He leaves memories of his love for family, dogs, motorcycles, and a sense of humor. He was a Shriner and a member of Cannon Lodge #104 So. Seaville. Calling hours are Monday July 29th 10am-12pm at Langley-Loveland Funeral Home 2315 Main St. (Rt. 50) Tuckahoe, NJ 08250. A Masonic service will be held at 12pm followed by a message from his pastor.
