My brother Neil meant so much to me. He was a friend that lightened up my world. There are two stories that I would like to share because they are part of what I will miss the most. First, we texted or phoned each other on birthdays and anniversaries of our parents and grandmother. Neil usually was close on the date and we always laughed that he at least had the right month. Second, Neil was an accomplished musician who knew every song. I would sit in a family rocking chair as Neil played song after song challenging me to ‘Name that Tune’. My score was very poor, so we laughed. I will also miss the love he shared, his technical knowledge and his insights on the world. Neil was loved and appreciated by so many. He left a void that will not be filled. I was very fortunate to have Neil for my brother.
