Obituary for Richard Schweibinz

Schweibinz, Richard, age 93 of Petersburg, passed away 9/29/2017 surrounded by his family. He served his country and was in WW2. He worked for General Machine as a machinist for several years, was a member of the Carpenters Union and later he had his own construction business. He built many homes in the Petersburg and Tuckahoe area. Richard was an avid racecar fan and owned several racecars driven by his son-in-law. Him and his wife Betty had many ventures traveling abroad and cross country in their motor-home.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Betty, of 64 years. He is survivd by his 4 children Katherine Chance (Kenny), Susie, Richard, and Kenneth. His 5 grandchildren, Michael Chance (Megan), Matthew Chance (Stephanie), Tiffany Morelli (Michael), Jessica (Fiance Kevin), Heather, Teresa (Nick) and Kyle (Jen). 11 great grandchildren, Cassidy, Caylinn, Colton, Nadia, Matthew, Andrew, Vincent, Logan, Andrew, Gianna, Nicolas and Miranda. Services for Richard will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, October 4th at the Wesley United Methodist Church, 400 Dennisville Petersburg Rd, Petersburg, NJ; visitation will be held from 10am until time of service. A burial will immediately follow time of service at the Wesley United Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sunday School Program at the Wesley United Methodist Church.
