Deborah J. Magill (née Teaford), aged 61, of Corbin City, NJ, passed away on August 15, 2017 at home surrounded by her loved ones, after battling pancreatic cancer. Deborah was born September 16, 1955, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Percy Teaford and Isabel Hallman.
Deborah graduated from Lower Merion High School in Ardmore, PA and subsequently worked in the healthcare field as a nursing home aide, home health aide, and scheduler. For the past 23 years, she worked at Holy Redeemer Home Care and Hospice as an administrative assistant. Deborah was always a hard worker with a never give up spirit and possessed an immense amount of patience, love, and compassion that helped her bring much support and comfort to many patients and families in the community as they were dealing with illness and the passing of loved ones.
She met the love of her life, Charles E. Magill, III; in Sea Isle City as a teenager and the two were inseparable, spending their summers boating, fishing, crabbing, and enjoying the beach together. They shared their love of the beach and eventually made their home in Corbin City. Unfortunately, Charles left her too soon, but she still loved him as if no time had passed.
Deborah loved traveling, the beach, and music. She would often reminisce about her childhood trips with her parents in their pop-up camper and the fun she would have down at the shore. She made many fond memories camping with her parents and continued the tradition with her family. She really loved Disney and took her family on many fun-filled trips to Walt Disney World. She shared her love of Disney with her grandson, Isaac, and made many memories with him on several trips to Walt Disney World and one special trip to Disneyland to celebrate the 60th anniversary (and her 60th year as well). She had a lot of fun driving in her baby blue sports car and singing along to Madonna songs. She enjoyed going to concerts, including Madonna, Adele, and Paul McCartney, with her friends.
Deborah was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She never failed to make her family feel loved and made every holiday, special occasion, and birthday very special for her family. She did a wonderful job decorating for the holidays and we would always joke that she should change careers and be a professional decorator. Christmas was her favorite holiday. She especially loved the lights and would spend days decorating inside and outside, sometimes even having two trees. She loved Christmas movies and would record them to watch all year.
Deborah is survived by her daughters, Candice (Ismael) and Lauren; her son, Charles; her grandson, Isaac Calle-Magill; her brothers, Percy (Bud) Teaford and John Teaford; and a number of other relatives and close friends.
Deborah had a kind and generous spirit and will be missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. We take solace in knowing she is now reunited with her husband, her parents, and her furry friends Patrick and Tiger Lily; whom she missed immensely.

A memorial service will be held at the Seaville United Methodist Church on September 13, 2017 at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
