James T. Hess, Sr. of Ocean City, NJ, 84, passed away on May 23, 2017. He is survived by his wife Loretta and children Carrie Dickinson (Phil) of Ocean City and James T. Hess, Jr. (Rita) of Las Vegas, NV, two sisters and a brother, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jim was a veteran of the US Navy. He worked as a bricklayer and in later years, as a construction superintendent on commercial projects. Jim assisted at his daughter’s business, Treasures Past Antiques. He loved collecting model trains, cooking for family, animals, and sharing stories of his past. Burial of his ashes will take place at Cape May County Veterans Cemetery on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at noon.
