Shivers, Norma Marie (Nee Vogel) - age 83, of Woodbine, NJ passed away on Monday May 23rd, 2016 of natural causes at the Cape May Courthouse Convalescent Center. Norma was born in Keensburg, IL on November 27th, 1932 to the late Jacob Vogel and Emelia Bosecker. The majority of her childhood and early adult life was spent in Southern Illinois and Indiana. In her later years she lived in Woodbine, NJ and retired as a Supervisor at the Woodbine Developmental Center. She was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Walter M. Shivers, Jr. in 2010. Norma is survived by her three children, Debbie Keeney and her husband Denny of Springfield, IL; Tonia Harris and her husband, Scott of Brigantine, NJ; and Bradley Williams and his wife, Kharisa from Sanatoga, PA. Norma was also survived by her 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral service for Norma will be held at 12 noon on Friday, May 27th at Langley-Loveland Funeral Home, 2315 Route 50, Tuckahoe, NJ. A public visitation will be held at 11am, burial immediately following service at the First Baptist Church Cemetery at Cape May Courthouse.
