Obituary for Joel Renn

Joel Renn
Joel Christian Renn, 40 of Upper Twp., was called home by the Lord on February 12, 2016 at his home in Tuckahoe. Joel was born November 18, 1975 in Poconos, PA to Earl Renn and Karen A. Veach, was raised in Somers Point and attended Mainland High School. He worked for Acme Market for many years before changing career paths in favor of working in the construction trades. This led him to pursue an education with Pennco Tech where he excelled in the HVACR technician program, then to attend the Seashore Real Estate School with his mother, graduating with honors from all the programs he attended throughout his life. Joel had a passion of playing the guitar and the outdoors, especially his time spent fishing. He had a special love for God, children and animals especially dogs. He could often be found at Dog Beach with his faithful companion, Willy. His infectious smile and gentle nature will be missed by many. He is survived by his mother and best friend, Karen Veach. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss him deeply but are too many to list. He will also be deeply missed by his dog, Mister. He is predeceased by his father, Earl Renn a Vietnam veteran, and dog Willy. The Family would like to thank their angel on earth - the good Samaritan who assisted the family in their time of need. A celebration of Joel's life will be held Sunday March 13th, 1PM, at the Tuckahoe United Methodist Church, 112 Route 49, Tuckahoe, NJ, 08250. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made in Joel's memory to the Tuckahoe United Methodist Church, or search Joel's name on www.GoFundMe.com to donate to the family directly. Friends and family can share memories and condolences at www.LangleyLovelandFuneralHome.com.
