Paul Joseph Gossin, Jr –age 85 of Avalon, NJ passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Colwyn, PA and graduated from Sharon Hill High School, where he met the love of his life, Harriet and raised two children in Ridley, PA. He founded and owned La-Ra Display specializing in mannequin restoration. He was active in his community. He served as a Master of Lansdowne Lodge #711, was a member of Cannon Lodge #104, served as Commodore of the Avalon Yacht Club in 1979, was a member of the Lions Club, past president of AHLOA, and a volunteer fireman.
He will forever be in the hearts of those he left behind, including his loving wife of 64 years, Harriet, his two devoted children, Larry (Terry) Gossin and Randa (Joe) Triggs, his adoring grandchildren, Laura (Jason) Triggs Gidas, Joseph Triggs, Kevin (Rachel) Triggs, Bethany (Chris)Lavoie Carl, Matthew (Brittany) Gossin, Daniel Gossin, seven great- grandchildren, the joys of his life, and his brother John (Phyllis) Gossin.
Services will be held on Sunday May 25th, 2014 at 2pm at the First United Methodist Church of Avalon, 3344 Dune Dr, Avalon, NJ, visitation to start at 1pm, a Masonic Service at 1:45pm, burial to follow at Head of the River Cemetery, Estell Manor.
